This is a book about a young boy named Christopher Boone and he suffers from the disability, Autism. He is a very smart boy and is considered a genius. However, one day Christopher set out to solve a crime when he found that his neighbor’s dog, Wellington was killed with a garden fork and was blamed for it. He decided to act as his favorite character, Sherlock Holmes while solving this mystery. In this story, Christopher is faced not only to deal with Wellington’s death but he also has to deal with his problems at home and with his parents marital issues. In the end, it turns out that the real person who killed Wellington the dog turned out to be his own father.


The Memory Keeper’s Daughter

This book starts out by telling how a man named Dr. David Henry is forced to deliver his own twins on a cold winter night. When they come out, he first sees that he has one perfectly healthy boy but then when he pulled out the second baby, he immediately could tell that his baby girl has Down syndrome. David decides to try and protect his wife by taking away the baby girl and telling the nurse to take the baby away to an institution somewhere. However, the Nurse just cannot do something she thought was so terrible so instead she decided to take the baby girl for herself and raise it as her own.
